Things I Have to Have: Soled Slippers

How cute are these???

I just got back from a weekend with my LEHIGH girls! Eating, breathing and sleeping together once again! Like when we were 17/18 years old, and meeting for the first time. This year we left the house for many adventures, but traditionally our goal is to stay in our pjs as much as possible! And what is one thing I noticed we always bring? Our slippers!!!

Personally, I prefer an indoor/outdoor slipper because I often have to step outside for various reasons. Also true when at our Airbnb (hehe)! And if you know me, you know I’m a practical gal. Which is why slippers with soles are something I have to have!

While the benefits are obvious, let’s be reminded of them:

Comfort and support. Yes, they provide arch support if you have tile or hardwood floors.
Safety! The sturdy soles are usually non-slip, reducing risk of slipping on smooth or wet surfaces.
Protection. From sharp objects and debris when stepping outside briefly.
Hygiene. A barrier between your feet and the floor, keeping your feet cleaner.
Durability. They last longer than non-soled slippers.
Insulation. Warm inside and the soles prevent any chill from cold floors or the ground.
Versatility. An addition to any footwear collection, some can double as street shoes (No thanks).

Why not have a pair of slippers you can wear to grab the mail, take out the garbage, bring in some firewood, or pop a cork? Now is a great time of year to put them on your wish list for Christmas or Hanukkah!

Click reply and tell me what kind of slippers YOU have! Soled or non-soled?
