Like most people, I have accumulated an extensive collection of baseball hats. Places I’ve visited, schools I’ve attended, teams I root for, sports that I enjoy. I LOVE finding new hats almost everywhere I go!
If you know me, you’ve seen some of the favorites in my collection: Clemson, Diamond Blue (Block Island), a couple Titleist hats, my very chic Lago di Como hat a friend brought back to me from Italy, and my coveted RF hats (one given by the man himself! Roger Federer!)
Regularly wearing hats happened years ago when I got back into tennis and needed my hair out of my eyes. Hats have become a necessity for me, replacing the snowboarding helmet after a day at the mountain, keeping my hair from blowing uncontrollably on my walks, shading my face while playing golf, and when I need to cover my messy hair after the beach, pool, or bed.
The more active I get, the more I need my hats! They’re fun conversation pieces and they always look better than the alternative. Taking the hair variable out of the equation, I am less distracted in what I’m doing. So useful for my lifestyle, baseball hats are just something I have to have.
